PyCon Italia will be held near the old city centre of Florence, at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo (Lungarno del Tempio, 44 - not far from the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce).
The event takes place in a central area in Florence, so we advise attendees to reach the city by public transports (trains, airplane etc…). It’s possible to reach the hotel in few minutes from the city center.
Arrive at the central station “Santa Maria Novella”, then head to the "Stazione Piazza Adua" stop. From there, the hotel is about a 25-minute walk - we suggest you take it slowly and enjoy the city a bit. Alternatively, take bus 14 (tickets options: €1.70 regular, €2.00 + operator cost SMS ticket, €3.00 onboard). The bus stop is located in “Stazione Piazza Adua" in front of the “Monte dei Paschi di Siena” bank. Get off at “Arnolfo Orcagna”, just behind the hotel, only 150m away.
